Wedding Nightmares- Literally!

Totally normal to have those kind of dreams and nightmares! i had them. mine had to do with things i really was actually nervous about such as photographer not getting any good photos haha

Oh I had a WEIRD dream recently where it was my wedding day, but we weren't at the venue, we were in a muddy field. And then after the ceremony (I didn't actually dream about the ceremony) one of my best friends was wearing my wedding dress and the train was dragging through the mud. And then we were in a barn, but it was a concession stand. It was a very confusing dream and I have no idea what it was trying to tell me haha

I personally haven't had nightmares. But I have heard it's super normal. I guess just laugh it off lol

I have had one nightmare , my better half and i arrived on our wedding day and nothing was planned so we winged it

Right at the start of planning I was super stressed about how exactly we were going to afford everything and I had nightmares of getting to the venue and literally nothing had been paid for.

Also been stressed about deposits because pretty much all of my vendors are a $500 or 1/2 down deposit, and so nightmares of planning to contract and totally forgetting up to the day of the wedding to actually contact any vendors.

I am a planner as well, hence it being a nightmare

I've had two weird wedding dreams within the last 2 weeks. We are 6 months out.

I've also had mini anxiety attacks

I was supposed to have a destination wedding to Florida summer 2020 (now it's summer 2021!). While everything was a clustermess with covid, I had a stress dream that my fiance and I didn't make it to Florida for our wedding so we had to get married in backwoods Alabama instead! In my dream we couldn't find a space for the wedding so we ended up sharing the reception with a late morning bingo group of elderly at a VFW hall. Then, I was about to kiss my fiance for the wedding (the only part that really mattered!) and he turned green, symbolizing that he got covid in that moment and I had to get a substitute groom instead who was actually a strange woman and that was the point I woke up screaming...

I haven't gotten the stress dreams again for our second attempt at a wedding this year, but I think as long as my future husband doesn't turn green and get replaced by a woman I've never met, I'll be good!
