Wedding Nightmares- Literally!

Our wedding isn't until December but this is the second time I've had a nightmare/stress dream about it! I dreamed that it was suddenly our wedding day, but we still didn't have everything planned. We were running around trying to figure out who would officiate the wedding and what was suppose to happen when. It was stuff that I don't have fully figured out yet, but I really still have plenty of time and my awake self knows that!

Have any of you had weird or stressful wedding dreams or nightmares? What were they about? I'd love to hear that I am not the only one with unreasonable dreams 🤣

Totally normal to have those kind of dreams and nightmares! i had them. mine had to do with things i really was actually nervous about such as photographer not getting any good photos haha

Oh I had a WEIRD dream recently where it was my wedding day, but we weren't at the venue, we were in a muddy field. And then after the ceremony (I didn't actually dream about the ceremony) one of my best friends was wearing my wedding dress and the train was dragging through the mud. And then we were in a barn, but it was a concession stand. It was a very confusing dream and I have no idea what it was trying to tell me haha

Oh gosh you’re not alone!
I’ve had multiple nightmares about things going wrong and just woke up sweating! It’s making me stressed about the big day! Haha don’t worry. Many of us probably wake up crying after having these dreams or nightmares.
For me it’s always the DJ. Every single nightmare or dream about the wedding, the DJ messes something up!

Oh no! Mine also had something in it about we didn't pick up the marriage license ahead of time so we weren't sure how we could do the ceremony! Definitely a worry of mine since we will be coming from out of state and will have to come early just for the license.

I personally haven't had nightmares. But I have heard it's super normal. I guess just laugh it off lol

I have had one nightmare , my better half and i arrived on our wedding day and nothing was planned so we winged it

I had nightmares all the time. The most common one was that my husband cheated on him. I would wake up angry at him. I'm now pregnant and I've been having pregnancy nightmares as well.

We had a tent wedding and I can not even begin to tell you how many dreams I had that it was wedding day or the day before and the tent was still not up.

I was SO FREAKIN RELIEVED when they ended up doing the install 2-3 days before the wedding haha

Right at the start of planning I was super stressed about how exactly we were going to afford everything and I had nightmares of getting to the venue and literally nothing had been paid for.
Also been stressed about deposits because pretty much all of my vendors are a $500 or 1/2 down deposit, and so nightmares of planning to contract and totally forgetting up to the day of the wedding to actually contact any vendors.

This is so crazy!! I keep having the exact same dreams that it’s almost my wedding day and I haven’t planned a thing. I think it’s because I’m so worried about everything being perfect! I feel like nightmares are normal, or at least I hope so because I have them too!

Glad I am not the only one! I figured I would have nightmares about it eventually, but I had no idea they would start 9 months out haha! I am sure they will evolve to new obscure and absurd worries as the wedding approaches 🤣

I was supposed to have a destination wedding to Florida summer 2020 (now it's summer 2021!). While everything was a clustermess with covid, I had a stress dream that my fiance and I didn't make it to Florida for our wedding so we had to get married in backwoods Alabama instead! In my dream we couldn't find a space for the wedding so we ended up sharing the reception with a late morning bingo group of elderly at a VFW hall. Then, I was about to kiss my fiance for the wedding (the only part that really mattered!) and he turned green, symbolizing that he got covid in that moment and I had to get a substitute groom instead who was actually a strange woman and that was the point I woke up screaming...
I haven't gotten the stress dreams again for our second attempt at a wedding this year, but I think as long as my future husband doesn't turn green and get replaced by a woman I've never met, I'll be good!

I had SO many nightmares about me wedding. At least once a week. Lol it was always about planning. But I had everything pretty much planned by August for my October wedding, so I think it was just nerves. My day went perfect☺️

Oh, yes. I've had 2 wedding nightmares, both had to do with nothing being set up, no one being there, my family, guests, and groom being nowhere to be found, and feeling very alone and unimportant and unloved because NOBODY was there for me.
