Wedding nails!!

Felicia Klee, on June 19, 2020 at 6:40 PM Posted in Hair and Makeup 0 20
Hello beauties!! My wedding is July 4th, my nail appointment is June 29th, which is that Monday. My question is will nails last that long? I don’t normally get them done so I’m slightly worried, these are what I want done, I have short nails though so they’ll have to add acrylics. Thanks in advance Wedding nails!! 1

    Those are really pretty!!

Yes, it's just a few days, it should be no problem at all! I would recommend staying away from things like washing dishes, gardening, anything that can be hard on your nails for those few days between the nail appointment and the wedding.

I would recommend either gel or dip. Regular polish always chips in a day or less for me. I have pretty short nails too but have never done acrylics though so that might be different. Mine will be a dip color and it will last 2-3 weeks depending on nail growth. I’ll be getting mine done on Monday for a Saturday wedding July 11th.

I definitely agree with N! Gel & powder dip manicures last longer and are much more chip resistant!!

Also great tips from Cristy to avoid activities that are tough on your nails to help preserve your manicure! I've also learned the hard way that the worst thing you can do post-manicure is to take a hot shower or do dishes, you need to be extra careful that day to not undo any of their work!

I think under normal circumstances they would last, but knowing my own personal luck.... I'd probably get them done a day or two before and then NOT doing anything that could cause them to break.

They should hold for at least 3 weeks. Those are so cute.
