Wedding Nails! French Manicure vs Neutrals

I did Black and red.

All fingers were black except the ring finger on both hands was red (with a black tip)

not fake nails- just polish and shaped my natural nails.

These were mine for my wedding. Love the accent nail.

I looove gel manis and will be doing one, but I haven't decided what yet. I am thinking of a neutral light pink or nude, possibly with a hint of shimmer or glitter thrown in.

I just did a very pale, neutral pink gel manicure.

I'm not a huge fan of the french manicure look anymore, I feel like it's kind of outdated. But that's just my personal preference.

I did a simple french and loved it.

If my nails are long enough I will do a French tip, if they are on the short side I will go with a nude neutral color.

I'm the only person on the planet who hates French manicures.

I picked pale pink gel mani but the lady at the salon suggested sparkles on the ring finger.

I usually do a very discreet french manicure on my nails but opted for light pink solid color gel for the wedding. Looking back, would've preferred nude.

Do a french manicure ombre. I think it makes the French manicure more subtle but not as plan as a neutral color! : ) best wishes!

I am doing French but if you don't have long nails I suggest you do a soft neutral because sometimes gel French manis don't look the greatest on short nails (just my professional opinion- I'm a nail tech)

I will be doing a pink nude with some sparkly.

@Celia - no, you're not. I've never liked the look of French manicures. But, I typically do my own nails, and get funny looks when I tell the manicurist to file them 'round.'

I did OPI Bubble Bath for my color & liked it a lot! It was a pale pink & looked really pretty in pictures. I attached the best picture I could find of the color.

I only like french manicures when they're black with white tips. For the big day I'm thinking black and some sort of negative space
