Hey ladies! Since getting engaged have any of you started watched wedding movies or tv shows? I've always been a huge fan of Say Yes to The Dress, but surprisingly haven't watched it as much while engaged lol I recently made a list of wedding movies to watch and decided to start today. I'll be watching "Monster in law," "My big fat Greek Wedding," and "Bride Wars." I thought it would be a fun way to spend my Sunday and take a break from planning. Smiley smile

    I started watching loads of SYTTD too after getting engaged! Another show I love marriage related is 90 Day Fiance. It's a mess, but I've even got FH hooked Smiley laugh

    I love Bridezillas- it makes my FH realize how good her has it lol. I've also been watching Frugal Brides on Netflix.

    I love The Proposal! The Wedding Planner was cute too. The Bachelorette was a dark, dry comedy but I loved it. The Hangover still takes the cake (along with The Proposal).

    I too thought today would be a good movie day... started with Jumping the Broom then The Wedding Date and ended with My Best Friend's Wedding.

    I've seen previews on tv for 90 Day Fiance, but I've never actually watched the show. It definitely looks like a huge mess lol

    Jumping the Broom is also on my list of wedding movies to watch. I haven't watched it in so long! I'm not sure I've ever watched the wedding date, is it good? My Best Friend's Wedding is one of my all time favorite movies! It's next on my list to watch!

    Never thought I'd be one of those future brides...but I've been watching wedding shows almost daily like Rich Bride Poor Bride, Four Weddings, Wedding SOS, and Wedding Cake Championship.

    I'm less than a week away, was watching SYTTD last night, and found myself sobbing.

    So.

    Just watched Dirty Dancing and got all teary over that, and it's not even a wedding movie.

    I have not found wedding shows/movies to be a break - more like a reminder and often an emotional trigger!

    I love watching Rich Bride Poor Bride, it’s very realistic for wedding planning. I watch it on Amazon Prime but it’s on Netflix too.

    Four Weddings, SYTTD, Bridezillas, My Big Fat American Gypsy Wedding, 90 Day Fiance the other way is even better than the original, imo. My FH always rolls his eyes and says I'm watching garbage, but I figure, I'm in graduate school/TA so I can rot my brain in my off time.


    I'm even more excited for SYTTD and Four Weddings since picking out my dress! Even when they put on beautiful dresses, I love mine so much more. It's my happy place. In fact, SYTTD is on right now.
