Wedding moment line ups

Based on weddings we have attended with and without a dj, we have never heard anyone announce events as they happen. Everything flows organically on its own and guests are not confused. And our circles would be more confused if someone was announcing any or every part of the reception. There is also no one-size-fits-all order for events as each family and social circle is different in what they prefer and what works for them. But if every wedding you have attended prior has had every event announced and all guests in attendance are from the same social circles where things are considered the norm, then they could be wondering what is going on. It depends on your crowd. Personally I wouldn’t stress over it.
