Wedding Menu

Our wedding is June 6th. Our ceremony will be held outdoors at a historical farm venue, then the reception will be inside at a hotel and conference center in their gardens atrium. The hotel caters and bartends, which is great! I just don’t know if I want to do more of a casual type menu or make it a little more fancy. Help me come up with some good food combinations off this menu. 2-3 entrees and then some sides that compliment them! Thanks 😊

The roast beef sounds like it would be a good one with scalloped potatoes

Does it all cost the same? What is the feel for the rest of your wedding, more formal or more casual?

If it were me, I'd choose the Pulled Pork, Roast Beef, and Vegetarian Lasagna. Then for sides, Cornbread Dressing, Green Beans, and Scalloped Potatoes. Can you try some to see which are better?

That sounds really good! I hadn’t thought of that. The prices are different but not by much so I’m not as worried about cost, no matter what it’ll equal close to the same! The feel of the wedding will be somewhere inbetween casual and formal I guess you could say. The setting and decor will be rustic/romantic. There will be around 150 people attending. I don’t want them showing up in shorts and T-shirt’s, but they don’t have to wear black ties either.

Are you doing a kids meal option? Chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese could be a good pick!

What is cheddar chicken because that sounds delicious!!
I think chicken Alfredo is always a great option, but Im biased because that’s what we’re having at our wedding 😂

I think pulled pork and fried chicken could be a fun menu for a less formal wedding! Personally I would pick veggie lasagna or fettucini alfredo as a third option to accommodate anyone who doesn't want to eat meat.

Cornbread dressing would go great with the pulled pork or chicken, then I'd probably do something lighter like green beans or carrots. Scalloped potatoes also sound great.

Have you had a tasting? We didn't commit to anything until we had our tasting and then picked beef/chicken/fish options off that to give a variety of options (there was a 4th vegan option that came automatically with our venue)

I would choose the vegetarian lasagna, roast beef, and fettuccinni alfredo with chicken!

For the sides, I like whipped potatoes, rolls, and green beans!

I would do Veggie Lasagna, Fettucini with Chicken and Roast Beef au Jus. That way there's something for everyone. Sides I'd do Mac and Cheese, green beans, any of the potatoes, stir fry veggies
