Wedding lips

I will be wearing a clear or nude gloss, nothing that will messed up eating or kissing my future husband.. something simple that I can touch. 🥰

I am going to wear a smudge-proof lip color for the ceremony, then remove it and just do a gloss or nude lip for the rest of the evening. That way I don’t have to worry about it for pictures, kissing, eating, drinking, etc. Plus, who doesn’t love rocking multiple looks??

I had nude color lipstick but that came off quickly and I just kept reapplying lip gloss throughout the day.

I found this great Maybelline matte lip gloss/stain it’s crazy how long it stays on and doesn’t transfer. I wore it in 100 degree weather for my cousins wedding and bought a different shade for my wedding it’s fantastic

A good makeup artist will use primer and high quality smudge proof products that last. Drug store makeup including lipstick it doesn’t last that long. Getting professional makeup done by a skilled artist, they use high quality products including primer and setting spray so nothing budges into the next day, including lipstick.

Wondering this myself. I have to book my trial hair and makeup so I’ll ask her about this

I highly, highly recommend too faced melted matte lipstick. It absolutely does not budge.

I was thinking of wearing a Chanel one on the day, but the lipstick that actually photographs the most flatteringly on me (and basically everyone I know who has tried it) is the lipstick Kate Middleton wore on her wedding day - Bobbi Brown's sandwash pink. It is SO flattering on every skin tone, just a really pretty 'your lips but better' colour. It's just a regular lipstick so not much staying power, but I plan on applying multiple layers set with powder, and then using lip sealant Lipcote over the top. Hopefully that will make it stay as long as possible!

I HAVE to try this! My fiancé hates getting lipstick on him so i need to find something that won't come off!
