Hello everyone,
Where did you buy your wedding insurance? Anyone has tips on what too look when purchasing?

Thank you

I wasn't... aware you needed insurance for a wedding?

My venue didn't require it, at the very least. This is news to me, honestly. I don't think that it's not something you should do, though. It can work in your favor and I assume some vendors require it, just in case. I know that many insurance companies like State Farm, Progressive, etc can sell Special Event insurance. Maybe they might be a good place to start or with your car insurance provider? They do a lot more than cars, I'm sure.

We used Wedsafe and were happy but we didn't have to use our insurance at all.

My Allstate agent gave us a quote for 175 for up to a million in coverage. It's a one day liability policy that covers injury, etc for guests. Especially critical if you are serving alcohol. I have my car and homeowners insurance thru him so he was my first thought to call. Basically, if someone has too much to drink at your wedding and hurts or kills themselves or others as a result, it covers you. My agent explained that generally the one who got drunk would sue anyone involved -- the bartender, the venue, the bride and groom. Just to release liability themselves.

My venue required wedsafe, but I was happy with everything I read on their website.
