Has anyone chosen their invitations? I am getting a bit overwhelmed. Any suggestions?

You have a ton of time before you need to buy invitations and I definitely wouldn't order them this far out. Look at different websites (Vistaprint, Zazzle, Minted, Etsy, etc.) and get a feel for what you like. Then you can sign up for email alerts from those sites so that you can order when they have promotions going on.

Oh my gosh, yes! Searching for invitations can become so overwhelming! I’m also terrible when it comes to decision making! I actually asked about invitations on WW, too. Someone suggested Ann’s Bridal Bargains (I’ve also heard great things about Zazzle) . They’re wonderful! If you know a theme for your wedding, stick with that to narrow down your options. That will help make it less overwhelming. The prices are decent and you can order sets with invitations and RSVPs. I feel like you get more bang for your buck that way. You can also edit the font, the wording, etc. TBH, we went with a rustic theme and I chose my favorites. My husband helped make the decision by choosing his favorite from what I liked. Hope that helps!💕

I just chose them last night from Vistaprint and let me tell you...it was a little stressful trying to input our info in because my FH was being playful while I was trying to be serious! LOL! I had picked out 3 prior to so that part was fairly easy but he kept giving me the "runaround" with which one he liked the best. I'm very relieved that I'm done with that!!!

Lol, I forgot about that part. I had to search on Zazzle for a few days and cut/paste ones I liked into a Word doc to help me compare. We didn’t do matching prints (places cards, menus) but if that’s important to you rule out the ones that don’t have the printable s you need.

I was stressed about it too and we chose to do ours this way:

For the younger and tech savvy guests, they will receive a well designed e-invite via email or link through text message and they can RSVP from there right away and its something I can easily keep track of and its FREE. For the older and more traditional guests, we have have actual invitations designed, printed, and mailed out for them. We are ordering invitations through www.shutterfly.com This gives me a little more peace of mind and saves us money also.

That's part of the problem. A lot of them do not include the printables that I want.

I changed my mind on what I wanted at least three times. I just settled on a 3 piece suite from Shutterfly which has a traditional invitation, enclosure card with hotel info and an RSVP card. I decided on just having them send the RSVP card and not do any type of online RSVP but we have a lot of older guests coming.

Some sites I looked at were Anne's Bridal Bargins (best value), Minted (I got my save the dates from here), Zazzle (this didn't wow me), Basic Invites (too expensive for me) and I finally landed on Shutterfly during a 50% off sale because I felt it had the look I was going for, quality and customizable for the best price. But you do what works for you. For reference we are inviting 83 people and serving a buffet dinner so no one needed to select a food choice.

I requested samples from Minted and Shutterfly.
Seeing them in person helped us decide which one to pick.
I consider myself lucky because my FH gave me his opinion on what he would like which made deciding on an Invitation a lot easier.

Zazzle didnt wow me either. Also I didnt have a good experience with them from an Invitation I ordered for a work event. It was terrible, cheaply done.

We are doing our save the dates and invitations through Etsy. There are some really great Etsy stores that have online invitations from a website called templette. It’s so great because you can customize them however you want and we have a local print store that is printing them all for us at only 75 cents per invite. The digital template only cost us about $15. We lived the price and lodged even more that we could tweak the design and make it exactly how we wanted it.

I have looked at invitations on Shutterfly. I want something simple but elegant. But at the same time I don't want to spend the money on beautiful invitations if people are just going to throw them away. I only have 70 people total, most are couples so it knocks the invitations to a out 40. I have priced the invitations out, between $40 -$80 even for the beautiful elegant ones.
Idk. I guess I will figure it out when it gets closer.

We're getting our stationary from Zazzle. They have an amazing variety and continuous sales. Right now they have a sale going on for 60% off.
