How soon do you send out wedding invitations? We are planning on getting Married in October 2020

Hi Meredith,

The standard time for sending out invitations is 6-8 weeks prior to the wedding, congratulations! do you have your dress yet? I'd love to see it if you have! I'm not getting married until Feb. 2021, it's so exciting planning a wedding, I hope your having fun! my 👗 is from Stella York, style 6979 if you care to Google it!!!!!!!!

I've heard anything from 10 to 6 weeks is the norm. Remember that for your venue you typically need a head count 30 days out. So I would say depending on if you tend to have a family of procrastinators or not you may want adjust what end of the standard time you choose! Happy planning!
We are getting married November 2020 and I am sending out my STDs this month and my invitations in July.

6-8 weeks is pretty normal time frame. If you are sending out STD's, you can send those around 10 months out.
