Wedding Invitations

Jennifer, on September 12, 2021 at 6:17 PM Posted in Planning 0 3

This is a two-fold question.

1. I really like the Horizontal Fold Invitations from MagnetStreet. I think it's a big bang for your buck with their Horizontal Fold Invitations. Since they always have 75% off, a horizontal fold invitation with an Enclosure card, and matching envelope insert and label is around $2.75 each. They're also very customizable. I've looked at TheKnot and Minted, but wasn't very impressed with their selection. They seem pretty basic in comparison. Any other websites selling Wedding Invitation Suites similar to MagnetStreet?

2. What should I include in my wedding invitation suite when I have a website? I was planning on having people RSVP online on the website instead of sending a physical card. This saves on an extra card, postage stamps, return envelope, and it just organizes it so nicely when they RSVP on the website. I can also have a more elaborate description of the meal choices rather than just say: chicken, beef, and vegetarian. I do have an "Details" card that informs guests about the reception, the attire, and to RSVP by a certain date with a link to the website. Anyone else do this? If so, what else did you include in the invitation?

I love the tri folds. I ended up using a simple pocket fold that I found on Amazon and gilded it with gold foil. I took an invitation from Zazzle and added gold foil to it as well. Zazzle will have 50% off invitations about every two to three weeks. With Zazzle you can work directly with the artist to make modifications at no extra costs. I got everything very cost effective this way by adding a DIY to make it look different. Wedding Invitations 1

I made a QR code and linked it directly to the rsvp page on wedding wire. I have to be honest though, wedding wire’s rsvp page was wonky and some of my guest names wouldn’t pull up for them even tho I added their names. Wedding Invitations 2

Oh I love this idea! Get a simple rectangular invite and just buy pockets. Great idea! I’ll have to look into that, too, as an option

I just checked the Zazzle site and they are currently having a 50% of sale on invitations!
