I'm DIYing our invitations, and bought a template from Etsy. It's modern and simple which is the theme, but I'm wondering if it's okay to put a picture on the wedding invites as well. I've seen it more this year where couples are adding a picture onto their invites, or more elaborate detailing, and wasn't sure if we should or not!

FYI: Our invites look gorg whether we add a picture or not, so I won't be heartbroken if we shouldn't put one on there!

I don't see why that wouldn't be okay. They're your invitations, you decide what you want.

Personally, I don't like photos on invitations. I feel they are more for save the dates.

If that's what you want to do then so be it! I'm not a fan of pictures on invitations but its your wedding do whatever makes you happy

You can do anything you want. Traditionally the engagement picture was included as an insert along with reply/deatils cards but you can add it to the invite itself if you want.

Yea I made mine too off of a template ! I printed it on card stock on my printer

I think you should! I think now a days there are so many creative options to invitations, and it'll be a nice addition.

Don't mind me, but I think pictures on your invitations, might seem a bit tacky, but that's only my opinion, I think it will be beautiful regardless honestly. What my fh and I ended up doing was making our Save The Dates include a picture of us.

Hi Rhiamae! This was my old profile so I don't get any of the notifications haha! But I think we're opting out of adding a photo onto our invites. We love the simple look better without them! Thank you so much for your input! Your STDs and invites are so pretty btw!
