Wedding Invitations on a Budget

Nicole, on November 8, 2019 at 5:16 PM Posted in Planning 5 48

Where did you get your wedding invitations from? I really like the invitations from minted.com but for a whole suite it's so expensive in my opinion. I'm planning on ordering RSVP and guest accommodations cards in addition to the invitations, but I don't want to spend too much. Any suggestions? I'm going to need at most 100. Has anyone ever ordered invites from House of Brides?

I got ours from Ann's Bridal Bargains. I got 75 invites, 75 RSPV cards, 75 inner and 75 outer envelopes for under 60 dollars. There were easy to personalize, they were printed fast, arrived fast, and are beautiful.

I bought a template on Etsy ($30 bucks and they personalized it, and there are much cheaper ones too), then printed at a local print shop (mom-and-pop type place) and it was $40 to print like 75 invites & 75 RSVP cards on nice paper. Then got envelopes and address labels on Amazon and got stamps. All together around $120, with stamps and everything.

How little is your budget? I got save the dates, invites, rsvps, address stamp, extra envelopes for $300 each item except the stamp I got 60 a piece. All from zazzle. But there were more inexpensive options too! These are a pic of what my save the dates look like from them!
    Good luck!

I decided to do virtual save the dates and am happy I did! It cost me about $50 and saved me the trouble of rounding up current addresses and everything else that comes with traditional ones.

Might do the same with invitations, but I haven’t decided yet 😊

Ann’s bridal bargains!! Cheapest most inclusive invitation options. They don’t have as many designs as some of the other websites, but ALL invites are 99 cents

You might could find Black Friday deals ? Another option is finding someone who can design it for you and take the file to kinkos or other print shop to be printed

I got invitation templates at party city (mine went out of business so I got 100 of them for $3.00 during their closing sale!) and am currently designing them. The brand is Wilton. Maybe an option like this would be helpful for you

Anyone who got their invitations from zazzle, can you post a picture? I'm debating of getting mine from their since it is affordable.

I bought a design on Etsy for invites, RSVP cards, details and accommodations cards. Had them printed on PrintRunner.com and ordered envelopes from Cards and Pockets. It was all about $100 plus $40 for the belly bands which I felt like were my splurge.

Check paper innocence on etsy. I purchased an editable invite package and super easy to edit and it was 70% off due to a flash sale.

I ordered my from Minted since it was the best price. I didn’t include RSVP cards or any inserts and referred everyone to our wedding website. It saved a lot of money that I was able to use elsewhere. I ordered 175 and they printed the addresses on there for me, so I just had to seal and mail them. It was $400. They’re always running deals too.

I was looking and Sams club had wedding suites through their photo department. Was going to go through them until we changed our plans and are having less than 10 people in attendance.

Ann’s Bridal Bargains! I got 200 invitations that came with RSVP post cards and inner and putter envelopes for only $147 after shipping during a 30% off sale. I highly recommend them! Everything came in 3 days after I placed my order too!
