Wedding Invitations March 2020 Brides

Sw1943, on August 5, 2019 at 11:20 PM Posted in Planning 0 12
Hello! I’m getting married March 28, 2020 and want to know what other March brides are doing for sending out invites. 3 months out puts them in the middle of Christmas/card chaos. Thoughts on November or January?

My wedding is 3-21-20 we are sending them at the beginning of January as we are requesting an RSVP date of February 1st as we are doing self catering.

My wedding is 3/14 and we will be sending them out in January. We are putting them together in November but we were worried that would get mixed up in all the holiday mail. So that’s why we are waiting

Your invited should be sent 6-8 weeks before your date. Anything sooner than 8 weeks and it will get lost. Plus it’s tough for people to plan that far ahead. I would suggest sending them exactly 8 weeks before your date or 9 if your caterer requires final numbers at an earlier date. I was extremely anxious about the 8 weeks thinking it wasn’t soon enough so I did A LOT of research. Proper edicate is 8 weeks. I’m 4 weeks out and am only waiting for 11 more response cards.

Congrats, girl!! I’m from GA and will be getting married in Homestead, Fl (which is a bit challenging alone) on March 29, 2020! So, I understand this concern! But I think I may go with sending my our invitations out in the beginning of January! So, there will be plenty of time still for the RSVP’s to be returned.

Date twin! We had the same concern, but decided on mid-January as well to avoid holiday chaos.

Invitations typically go out 6-8 weeks before your wedding. So January will be fine. November is too early.

My wedding is the 30th and I was thinking the same thing. We plan to send ours in January as well and having the RSVP date be around 2/10
