Wedding invitations from Vistaprint

SoontobeMrs.N, on November 19, 2015 at 10:20 AM Posted in Planning 0 22

How good are their wedding invitations? They're pretty reasonable in price, but it makes me feel like the paper might be cheap. I don't want to spend a lot of money on something that's going to be thrown away! Help!

I got my save the dates from them and I loved it, but I'm not sure if the invitations will be of good quality.

I didn't order invites there, but I have gotten two sets of thank you cards, and I think my MOH got the shower invitations there. They were all good quality!

I ordered my invites from vistaprint. I had the invitations designed on etsy & printed through vistaprint. It was incredibly priced and I was even able to upgrade the paper to a nicer one without breaking the bank!

You can change the quality of the paper. When you are editing your invitation choice, one of the options is upgrading the paper quality. And like others have said, you can get a free sample.

We ordered ours from Vistaprint. You can upgrade the card stock to a higher grade and texture. That's what we did and it was still relatively cheap.

We ordered ours from Vistaprint and I was very happy with them. We had small budget and even if we didn't, I would have had a hard time justifying spending more money on invites.

I used them for STD's and my sisters shower invites. The invites themselves I liked, but the envelopes were really thin and cheap.

Loved the invites and you can upgrade the paper if you want. I did and they were perfect. One of my friends didn't and they were still fine. I wouldn't have noticed if I didn't compare side by side. I do second what was said about the envelopes being cheap but people rip them open and throw away so I didn't care.

Here's the link to order the sample kit. I was very pleased with the paper quality.

No vendor advertising, Yen. It's not fair and the brides don't want to read it. Flagged.

We got the cheapest paper and they were thicker than I was expecting. I think the base level quality is great.

I loved the paper quality of the linen paper. It was a bitch to corner punch through, but overall... We're happy with the quality. You can upgrade the envelopes, but honestly... It's going to get ripped open and thrown away.

Just my opinion on the envelopes. The bachelorette invites I made where black and hot pink and you could see through the envelopes. That's the only reason I brought it up. Smiley smile

Ok, great! Thanks, guys! I ordered the sample kit, but won't receive it until after the Black Friday sale. I wanted to see the quality of the invites before ordering, but I'll take your words for it and order my ivites from vistaprint!

Regarding the envelopes, there are inexpensive options if you don't like them: 1) Add liners. (I'm making mine with paper I found on clearance); 2) Buy different envelopes on eBay or Amazon.

I got mine from vistaprint. I wish they had a variety of paper weight options. I forget exactly, but the average invite might be about 100lb paper. It was just "good enough" for me to consider buying it. It doesn't scream cheap, but its not fancy or impressive either, if that makes sense. And the envelopes are a little thin. To make my invites look fancier, I bought good wrapping paper and made envelope liners and I will be using belly bands. Another just so you know- I was able to fit (in a standard invite envelope from vistaprint), the liner, invite, RSVP card, direction card from venue and thick belly band without having it seem overstuffed.

They don't do samples but you can order the minimum amount to see the quality. Mine are from there! They were so inexpensive plus I bought them on Black Friday so I was able to upgrade to their nicest paper, the linen finish. I was happy with the quality.
