Wedding Invitations disaster! Card stock different colors

Mob For Keely & Aaron, on August 21, 2019 at 12:40 AM Posted in Do It Yourself 0 7
First, I ordered from a company who sent me invitations that were wrong. We scrambled and found someone who printed thermography in 2 day, they came back perfect but the paper color is off with the rsvp, detail and reception card. No one in town had the color from the original set.
Here is my question, can I run the smaller cards through a professional copy machine and put a faint pattern on them to take away the color?
The raised lettering is well, not very raised.
I am brainstorming trying for the set to match.
Your feedback, much appreciated.

Can you attach a pic? I would honestly send them as is. If you try to copy them then any images or print you may have will become distorted. Have someone impartial look at them and see what they think. Unless you have to *stare* at the paper to see the differences, I wouldn't worry about it.

A pic would help to advise for sure (certain styles of printing would call for different fixes), but I also think a pic could help people reassure you if they really need a fix or not, as it may be just fine if they’re not the same color— depending on shades and such.

You are probably going to be the only one who notices this. I have received a couple of wedding invitations in the last month, and I swear to you I didn't even notice the color of the paper. The important part is the information printed on them.

I'm sure that's not what you wanted to hear, but I am hoping to reassure you that you don't have to do anything. As long as the information is correct, send them out as-is. This is a minor detail. Don't stress yourself out.

They are sent! We made adjustments with finding picture corners, putting them on the invitation with the correct information and mounting it on the original. It worked, everything blended.
