Wedding invitation websites and questions about invites?

Brittany, on October 14, 2019 at 8:09 PM Posted in Planning 1 9
Hi, looking into wedding invites and had a few questions. We did send out save the date, but I was curious when is best to send out invites? Our wedding is may 30, 2020 and I was thinking of mailing them early March and have them due beginning of April. Thoughts?

Also, has anyone ever used annsbridalbargain.com for invites?! Not many reviews on website, but they're super affordable and super cute so wanted to see if anyone has used them.

I’ve seen where people say to send the invites out like 3 months prior to wedding and then of course the RSVPs be back about a month before wedding. If anyone is out of state then maybe send them a bit earlier if needed 😊

Ordered both my STDs and invitations from there. They were great to work with and fast shipping! I thought they had great quality for the price. Just make sure you proofread, proofread!

I would suggest the 2nd week of March and April to send and receive RSVPs. Too early in March can cause in a delay in RSVPs (people will need time to think etc. and then forget). By the 2nd week, it’s still far enough out to meet the April deadline. Then, the April deadline gives you time to make last minute calls etc. to those who haven’t RSVPd. If you have to submit a final headcount to the vendor or caterer, I would definitely give a week between the day the headcount is due and your RSVP deadline to start following up with people.

I got my invitations from there and love them!! They have beautiful designs, great deals, and frequent sales. I got 200 invitations that came with RSVP post cards for only $147 after shipping during a 30% off sale! If you order them before noon, your order will arrive in 2 days, but if it’s after noon, you’ll get it in 3 days. I highly recommend them!

    Date Twin!

I sent my save the dates out today and I will be passing out the bulk of the invites at my bridal shower (save some stamps lol) second week of March.

Hey there, date twin!! Only just over 7 months to go!!

I'm also using Ann's Bridal Bargains for my invites. I have them all designed and saved, just waiting for the good sale to order them.

I plan on sending mine out at the end of March, with the RSVP deadline to be April 30. I want that much time to make sure I get everyone's response. If you read the discussions about RSVPs, you'll see that lots of couples have to chase down guests to get an accurate head count, because people are so bad about sending back the RSVP card.

Your timing sounds fine--a little early even. But if you know your crowd are procrastinators, or you know they need a little more time, go for it!!
