Wedding Invitation Timeline for Out of Town Guests

Hi all!

I am getting married March 25, 2023 in Dennison, OH. This location will be out of town for everyone attending. My family is from SC and will need to fly. My fiancés family live 1.5-2hrs away from the venue. I am planning on sending out Save the Dates in April to give almost a year notice for planning flights. I’m curious if I should send my details out with my save the dates and send invitations at a normal time, or if I should send invitations out earlier and if so, when?

Send your STDs, then put your details on your website and direct people there (but you likely won't have a lot of information about hotels and the like this far out). Then send your invitations 6-8 (or 8-10) weeks ahead.

Invites should still go out 6–8 weeks before. Your save-the-dates can include a link to your wedding website where you put details like hotel blocks, etc.
