I know the guide line is to send invitations out 6-8 weeks, but is that from wedding date or RSVP deadline

    I am doing 6-8 weeks from our rsvp deadline as that is 2.5 weeks from the wedding date.

    My brothers wedding is November 2nd and we just received theirs! Send yours out whenever you want! Especially if your venue needs head count weeks before!

    I did from our our rsvp date. Our venue needs final count a month before so 6 weeks would only give us 2 weeks and 8, 4 weeks with no window to call the people who do not rsvp.
