Wedding Invitation regret?

Shannon, on March 10, 2020 at 10:13 AM Posted in Planning 0 11
Did anyone order their wedding invitations and have a sense of regret about what they chose afterwards? To save money I went through Walgreens and now I'm wishing I had chosen something different. I know my mom's not crazy about the design but initially I thought, "I paid for it and chose it so who cares what anyone else thinks." The printing was done on matte paper so it may not feel "as nice" as heavier paper. I'm trying to tell myself they'll all likely end up in the trash eventually so is it really worth worrying about? Lol

Ooh i love it. but im doing a simple rustic theme. I have wood logs for my center pieces and down the aisle and under my cake!

That's kind of what we're doing so I wanted the invitations to match that theme.

I love them! I think saving money on them would make me feel much better anyways. They look great and save the money and use it for something that is more important to you!

It’s cute ! At the end of the day the design of the invites is for functionality anyway

I love the design!! If they're already ordered, there's no sense in over thinking it now. Just go with what you have. It doesn't really matter and won't matter to you once all is said and done.

I changed my mind on invitations so I understand where you are coming from! Why do you want something different? Do you think they feel cheap or you no longer like the design? If it still works with your theme, don't stress over something that, like you said, most people will throw away.

I think those are really nice! I didn't even know Walgreens did them, so I'm really impressed that they look so nice! I bet you saved a lot too, which is what really matters (besides marrying your soulmate of course haha!) Smiley smile

I think those look really nice. I wouldn't worry. Plus, people don't really care about the invites. The only time they see those are when they get it and on the day of the wedding.

I understand where you are coming from, you want everything be perfect and you want to feel 110% about everything. (I am the same way!)
I think the invites look great! I wouldn’t worry about it & you are probably right about the invites eventually getting thrown away at some point. Tbh every wedding I have been too, I can’t really recall the invite but I sure can remember the wedding & the reception 😊
Everything will fall into place and you’re wedding will be great!
