Wedding insurance

My FH and I don’t have wedding insurance but we would like to get one. However, we wanted to know from those who have it or researched different ones, did you really benefit from having one? Why did or didn’t you get one?

-Suggestions welcomed.

My venue required it from wedsafe. Thank God I didn’t have to use it. The $250 was worth protecting the $20k we were spending.

We did with Allstate, and it was so worth it just to not look at the forecast every hour( live in Colorado, 90 one day, snow and ice the next) and to be ok if business closed down unexpectedly or they ghosted us, or if anyone had a medical emergency, or if a teen sneaks drinks off guests and gets caught, or a tornado, or wildfire causes closures, medical cost incase of food poisoning for everyone, they even cover retakes of pictures if the card is lost or destroyed. Without it you could lose thousands. We also put everything we could on credit to pay off a month or two later, with the money we already had, as its simple to reverse a credit charge, just in case insurance cant help( plus helped our credit, and miles).

We purchased ours through ewedinsurance.com- we were on the fence about it but figured the one time investment was worth the peace of mind. We got about 25k worth of coverage for $300

We did not, and we were not required - which was hilarious, because we had swords at our wedding...

But we did not end up needing it, thankfully.
