My venue requires me To get liability insurance up to 2,000,000 .
Does anyone recommend a wedding NFC insurance company ?

Also what are people’s opinion on cancellation coverage as well ? Is it worth getting ?

Check with your current insurance company. Our homeowners and auto insurance policies are through Allstate and they offer one time event insurance policies as well.

It depends on your situation for cancellation coverage, I was in a new years eve wedding in Pennsylvania and the brides family found cancellation incase there was a huge storm, so maybe if youre getting married in the winter or hurricane season it would be a good idea

Hi Kristen, we are covered by Wedsure. Obviously haven't had to make a claim yet, but setting it up was easy. We got cancelation/postponement insurance as well as deposit insurance because our engagement will be a total of 2 years and my FH and I work in Europe. We'll be coming back to the States near my family just for the wedding. So we wanted to feel extra safe. Honestly, I think it's worth the money knowing you're covered for all these thousands of $ you're putting down for the wedding.

If you have homeowner's or auto insurance, you can frequently add a policy for wedding insurance.

We went with Wedsure.com. This was a very simple process and turned out to be very affordable - I think we paid $100 for our insurance Smiley smile

We went through Wedsure and it was very reasonable! $1 mil liability was only $149. We also got cancellation/postponement insurance (you never know with wildfires/earthquakes/pandemics) for $383.
