Wedding Insurance?

It was one of the biggest investments of our lives, so for us it was a non-negotiable. What if one of you is in an accident or hospitalized the week before the wedding? What if one of your parents or grandparents suddenly becomes ill and isn't able to attend? What if a hurricane damages your venue the week before your wedding? What if your little nephew sets the venue on fire (Lol)? What if one of your vendors goes bankrupt or goes out of business? These are all things that wedding insurance will help protect you against, and the peace of mind was well worth the small investment to us.

I had to cancel a wedding so it was helpful. It does happen. That being said it's really up to you. I think if you're spending a lot of money that you don't want to risk losing or you're doing a destination wedding it's a smart idea.

I definitely think wedding insurance is worth it. Think about it the way you think about having car insurance or homeowner's insurance. You obviously hope you never have to use those things, but having them in case something does happen can be a lifesaver.
