Wedding Insurance

Becky, on October 9, 2018 at 4:00 PM Posted in Planning 0 13

The venue I have booked requires us to purchase wedding insurance. What are some of the websites to go to and how much should we spend on it>

Ours requires insurance, so we are going through Wedsafe.

We used wedsafe, but check with whoever you have car or homeowners insurance through. Normally they offer it as well.

Wedsafe and wedsure are big ones, but I got cancellation insurance through Traveler's. My venue didn't require liability, but they offer that as well. Prices are based on the amount of coverage needed. For cancellation I went with what my budget was, for liability the venue probably has a set minimum.

I just purchased wedding insurance this morning from theeventhelper.com and is connected to Progressive. It was recommended by our venue, and a lot cheaper than wedsafe.

We just purchase dour liability and alcohol insurance thru the event helper last night. It was less than $100 for 2 days of coverage. They were also recommended by our venue. I looked at other companies but the prices were much higher. I went to the quote for wed safe and after only the 2nd page our quote was over $300.

Purrrrfect. Since that's all I need because apparently it's too late to buy cancellation insurance if you know a hurricane is coming lol.

Just curious, who is your insurance provider? That us a great price. I've checked out a few places, and once you add the alcohol, it changes it greatly.

We go through SafeCo. Its been the best bang for the buck for homeowners and auto too. I’ll add I’m in MT so that could be part of why the cost is so low.
