Wedding Insurance

Marcella, on August 27, 2019 at 3:41 PM Posted in Planning 0 8

Our venue requires us to purchase wedding insurance, and I have no idea where to start! What are some of the insurance companies you have used? Has to include a liquor liability. TIA!

I used progressive I believe. I googled wedding insurance. It cost under $100 for $1 million including alcohol

If you have an insurance agent for your car/home/renters insurance, and you trust them. Check there first. That's our plan.

I'm pretty sure i just added a temporary event rider to my renter's insurance policy. I would check with them first (or whoever does your home insurance, etc)

Our planner suggested Travelers and Wedsure. We ended up selecting Wedsure because it offered everything we needed for a cheaper price.

The owner of our venue has someone she uses and is going to set us up with it when its that time. Also check with your insurance company, maybe they offer it.

Yep - as PPs said, I'd check with your insurance company - they probably have it as an add on

Yes, check with your insurance company. Ours ended up being about 30cents a day being engaged for roughly 18 months which we figured was no brainer!
