I live in Northwest Ohio and am getting married March 15,2014. I would really love an outside wedding with an outside/inside reception but am worried about the weather.... Has anyone lived either close to here or where the weather can be unpredictable in March.... what did you decide to do for your...

Although I understand wanting to have an outdoor wedding I would go with having an indoor and trying to make it as outdoorsy as possible. Think of your guests. While you will be warm and cozy with happiness they might not e so much so. Is there a place with an atrium or arboretum or something that can give you both.

Wow Roe that's really pretty!!

I just had to comment to say that March 15 is my birthday! So with all the weddings that day next year, I guess it's a Saturday...

Anyway I remember the weather year to year for that reason, and I usually go skiing on my birthday. I wouldn't recommend an outdoor wedding either.

Oh and the Ides of March is supposed to be bad luck, it's the day that Julius Caesar was murdered by his friend and other senators ("et tu, Brute?") But I just ignore people who bring it up!

I live in Central Ohio and wouldn't risk doing an outdoor wedding in March. I am getting married in April and almost considered outdoors. My FH knows me all too well and axed the idea because he knew I would be stressed for an entire month about the weather. I recommend just doing it indoors this way you don't spend time stressing over something you have no control over.
