Wedding in 2023

What kind of vibes are you going for? What time of day do you think the wedding will be? Receptions are usually cheaper with less guests. I’ve seen really beautiful restaurant reception, or if the reception would be in the afternoon you could have a cute picnic with lots of appetizers.

How many guests do you plan to have?

Yes, budget and what kind of vibe. Sometimes thinking outside of the box with venues...restaurants with courtyards, libraries, museums with food trucks. I’ve seen some really creative reception spaces.

Also, where are you?

Cheap is super dependent on where you are.

I'm in the NYC metro area. Our "cheap" is... not, for, say, Ohio.

Maybe a brunch reception? Or I agree with the community centers idea, or a food truck possibly
