Kattura, on November 2, 2020 at 2:49 AM Posted in New York Planning 1 6
I’m looking for help with my wedding and setting it up. Don’t want nothing too big because I only have about four people coming unfortunately! I want to do blue and white but want to rent a dress n a tux for my fiancé and my children be in the wedding also.

    Hi, and welcome!

Where are you? It helps us guide you where to go.

Your best bet is to set up a budget. There are tools in the "Planning Tools" tab, above, to help you figure out what the average costs are in your area, set a budget, a timeline, and so on.

    Good luck!

Welcome to WW! Was just going to suggest what the previous person said. Just because it’s going to be small doesn’t mean it has to be boring!

You need to share more details. Which state are you having it in? What us your budget?

NYS and my budget I’m unable to say at this time but my father is going to do my cooking so I won’t need catering for that, their is only going to be roughly 10-15 people of that attending if that many. We will take our pictures on our own. I want a dress rental along with tuxedo rental. My children I will provide clothes for the day of.

If your father is doing the cooking, then you are looking for a venue that will allow you to bring in food?

That's going to be tricky - a lot of places will want a certified/licensed caterer. You might need to look at parks, community halls, or things like that.

Renting a dress is not something I'm familiar with, but it's worth a try. I got mine at a sample sale, which helped reduce cost.

Weddings don't have to be boring - make it about you and your FS, and those who love you will have fun.
