Wedding hashtag/venue ideas

Lindsey, on September 14, 2018 at 4:47 PM Posted in Community Conversations 0 5
Hey guys so I just recently got engaged! Super exciting lol. We are looking to get married September 2019 and have been looking at venues since dates for then get booked quickly. Anyone have ideas of decent rustic venues? Also I thought I’d ask. Our last names are Carbone and Elbanna so anyone have ideas for wedding hashtag? Thanks!

Hi Kelly! I love the hashtag #endlesselbanna I never thought of that! Thank you! I want something rustic! Although barn and farm venues can be very expensive. I’ve looking at massos in Glassboro and Running Deer Golf Club in Elmer so far. I want to check out Cecil creek farms.

Our wedding is September 2019! Our venue only had 1 weekend left, and although we were hoping for September 14, 2019 (no real reason it’s just a date we picked randomly) we did have to end up going with 9-21-19 our venue is soooooo worth it tho.

Its a thoroughbred horse farm and it’s gorgeous.

All of that is irrelevant though because I live in Illinois so what I meant is book it soon because there might not be September 2019 dates available. Lol

Yeah I think it might depend on the location and venue etc but we booked in February 2018 for our September 2019 wedding and the Saturdays were already filling up. We’re having it in a pretty popular beach city in Maine so they might be why but I think my advice would be look for venues ASAP but be open to dates other than September.

I was also looking for more rustic feeling (basically anywhere besides a hotel) and found that a lot of farms with more DIY setups don’t book weddings until their peak season is over for the current year. If that’s more your style, in my experience these types of places booked less far in advance so they have more openings. Good luck with everything!
