Wedding hashtags

I wouldn’t call it important. They’re completely optional. People post their photos using your hashtag, then you can search for it and find all of the photos of your event.

No. Definitely not necessary! I wasn’t going to do a hashtag, then a cute one came to mind. So, we’ll possibly list it for guests to use 🤷🏽‍♀️ But it’s definitely not necessary. People use it so that you can search the hashtag and find pictures that people posted. But, in reality, they can just text them to me. I don’t really need other people posting my photos. Lol

Not a necessity at all. The only social media that FH and I use is Facebook, so we put on our FAQ for people to tag us in their posts with wedding photos or email them to the wedding email address I made. Hashtags are cute and all, but we didn't have any need for one. Not to mention a lot of them are so overused, it wouldn't do much good to use it because you'd be one wedding among thousands.

As PPs said, they're totally optional! It basically lets people post photos from your wedding. I think you'll be fine not having one, but it's up to you and your future spouse!

No, it's just for social media savvy people really. I didn't have one. Didn't feel the need for one

We just made one for our guests to use on pictures (such as instagram) where we could search our hashtag and see all the pictures our friends and family posted at our wedding.
