What about a side braid or half up half down?

Half up Half down would be a good balance and might work best for you!

I'm wanting my hair half up half down with soft curls. I'm planning on getting dainty pins or a dainty headpiece to add to it since I'm not wanting to wear a veil.

I wish I have think and lots of hair. I saved a few pictures of up and down styles. If the day is cloudy, rainy, or windy I will have it up. If the weather is sunny but not to hot I want it down. I think you have to try some styles, while you try your gown at home, take pictures from side and front. Compare and decide which one you prefer.

Personally I'm gonna go to the "trial visit" and see what they recommend. I have no idea what I want aside from not pinned up.

This was my hair trial but I’m doing a braid with a few curled pieces left in the front. I’ll also have a flower crown! My hair would never stay curled through a wedding & putting my hair up just isn’t me, so I settled for a safe but beautiful in between. I always love the way braids look on a bride!

I have super thick haor as well. Every few months I go in and have my hairdresser thin my hair out. It helps out alot. I'm wearing my hair down, maybe up on ome side w a pretty hair pin or something and curled.
