Wedding hair: veil and barrette/comb

You could probably do both just put the comb for the veil over or right under the clip so it’s still showing

Yes, you can do both. Your hair stylist should create the half up part using a ton of Bobby pins. Then you lay the veil comb on top of the hair comb (align the top of veil comb just under the vines/flowers of the comb) and then you slide both combs together behind the Bobby pins. After the ceremony you take both combs out and then put the floral one back in. Your hair stylist will likely be gone by then, so just have her show your Mom, MOH or whomever you feel most confident will be available to help. My hair stylist showed my MOHs how to do it but my photographer ended up helping me out just due to timing and who was available to help when I needed to take the veil out.
