Wedding guest turnout

I've been told by most everyone family and friends to expect 100% attendance. Based on their experiences, they all said they had only 1 or 2 no shows/declines at most. That's including people having to travel.

We invited 57 and had 54 people show up. I would plan for almost everyone to attend.

Well due to covid we had a pretty high no show rate. It probably was around 20 people. But we still had over 100 people.

I had a handful of no shows at mine

I believe a 1-5% no show factor is pretty standard.
I already suspect at least one for our wedding.

I personally would never expect 100% attendance and I have estimated that of our 150 invited, 115-130 will actually attend. I think it’s more realistic to expect a decline rate of at least 10-15% of people (or more if your wedding is out of town) but otherwise to be prepared for the possibility of full attendance.

I would plan for everyone to be in attendance

We invited 113 and had 100 attend. Those who did not attend lived states away or were sick. I got married pre-COVID, so numbers might be slightly less these days.

Rule of thumb is to expect the number you invite.
