Wedding guest book

I'm not a fan of books because they just go in a drawer or a closet, never to be seen again. We wanted something functional and wound up going with a personalized whiskey barrel lid that we'll hang on the wall.

I agree with pp I think books are just going to end up somewhere where you won’t look at it ever again. I did canvases where people thumbprint on a tree as leaves because I wanted something artsy I can hang up as art

Mine is a canvas that I can hang up after.

We are doing a wooden piece that people will sign and we can hang on the wall. I never understood the books because you will literally never see it again when it get's home.

We gout a canvas that we'll hang up in our living room after!

We love our wooden frame. I wanted something I could hang in my home and look at every day. We surrounded it with wedding pics

I saw an idea on an old thread for an engagement photobook (only like $20-30 on Vista Print) and people sign around the edges of the photos, on the cover, back, etc. I like that idea!

I want to do something we can use as home decor.

We haven't 100% decided yet but I have looked on Etsy and found wood ones that will have out last name initial H or our first names along with our date on both of them. We both have a rustic style so I think that having something we can hang up to look at would be the best.

We’re doing a shadow box type of thing where the guests sign their name on small wooden hearts then drop them into the box!

We are also going to have a Bible that people can sign with their favorite verse/words of encouragement, but we wanted a guest book for people who are not as comfortable with the Bible idea

We are doing a customized whiskey barrel lid to hang on the wall after. Traditional books will likely get tucked away and never seen again.

We ended up ordering a heart drop box with Kri names on it, our guests will sign little silver hearts and they will drop it into this picture frame box. I don’t have a picture of ours yet but it looks like this, and it’s from Etsy

We live in Kentucky so we bought a real barrel lid locally then sanded, stained, and painted the design ourselves. There are also websites and Etsy stores that sell them premade!

Wow that's awesome! I will look into that! My FH and I are whiskey fans so I thought this was such a good idea!
