Wedding Grooms

So me and Rodney wedding date is set for September 24, 2022. This has been a lovely site for finding vendors however, when looking for wedding attire and such I’m finding that it’s more suited for brides instead of grooms. We are in need of someone to make our wedding suits or to find suits that would be just as over the top as the brides wedding dress. As grooms we must stand out. Help me please!!!!!!!!!!

I would try the thumbtack app.
You can find a tailor in your area if you are looking to go the custom route. I would also try Social Media (IG). That’s where I found tailors for my fathers and FH outfits. I also found the atelier for my reception gown there.

I can DM you the tailors we went with.

Where are you and your groomsmen located? Are you looking to buy or rent? Would you consider an online vendor? I’m sure even the brides on this site may be able to help you (since we sometimes tend to be involved in the selection of our groom and groomsmen’s attire. Lol!)

Got it - so you're looking for two spectacular suits. I think Rebelle's suggestions above are great. Also, look in your area for local suit shops -- they tend to have a better variety of suits (colors, patterns, materials, etc.) than your standard big box men's dresswear stores. And sometimes, wedding expos have vendors that highlight different menswear options (I remember attending one in New Orleans and a few of their vendors had suits that you wouldn't find in a regular menswear store).

For custom, your definitely want to find a local tailor of possible. For better quality than rentals, I'd suggest buying a quality suit or tuxedo from somewhere like Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, etc.

While looking for snazzy dinner jackets, I stumbled upon this site and they had some dinner jackets that are pretty awesome for men who can pull such attire off. 😊

I had the same issue. While I am one of the Brides, I'm not that kinda Bride :-) Nothing off the rack or web was wooing me. So I contacted a seamstress friend, who happens to be a local celebrity drag queen, that makes amazing outfits. Ordered the materials I wanted online (beautiful silk from Korea for sentimental reasons). Much pricier than off the rack but I know I will get exactly what I am looking for. Good luck in y'alls search.
