Wedding Gown Rental

I have known a couple brides who have done this in major cities. The caveat that turned me against it was they had to be safety pinned in the entire time because alterations could not be made. Just because you have the body type to fit in a dress doesn’t mean your measurements are a perfect fit.


A lot of the newer online dress sites offer new dresses cheaper than you would pay for a rental. For example, Azazie.com has a try on at home program, and their dresses are high quality but you could also order a bridesmaid dress in white from them that is just as pretty. Then donate to Goodwill or bridesforacause.com

Even if the dress fits really well - my SIL rented a formal gown from one of those services and the zipper split halfway through the event we were at!
