Wedding gown cleaning & preservation

Just married and I’m looking to have my wedding dress cleaned and potentially preserved but there is so much information I’m not sure where to go. I’m also seeing where dresses have been lost, so that’s a concern as well. Does anyone have any recommendations where they have had success getting these services? I would ask the bridal shop where I bought my dress, but they never answer their phone. Thank you!

I went with this company simply because they will dry clean the dress as well. You can also add other items to be included like your veil or garter belt.

I highly recommend the Wedding Gown Preservation Company. They’ve been in the business for over 100 years, work pretty exclusively with bridal gowns, and have always done great work. The boutique I worked at for 3.5 years used them, and the gowns always came back pristine, and I never heard of a dress getting lost (packages are tracked, insured, and must be signed for). When I bought a sample as my wedding gown, they were the only ones I trusted to clean it, and they did a beautiful job- no one would know my dress isn’t brand new!
