Wedding Gifts for In-laws

Carlie, on December 24, 2019 at 2:09 PM Posted in Planning 0 4
Hello! I was wondering what type of gifts all your lovely brides have gotten/are getting for your in-laws. We have my parents gifts picked out and all but we have no idea what to do for his parents. They are paying for the rehearsal dinner and gave us some money toward the wedding. Any thoughts? The one thing we are doing is buying them a photo of choose for there "wedding wall of children". Thanks in advance for your help!

What kinds of gifts did you get for your parents? Could you do similar things for your in laws? My fiancé isn’t very close with his family, so we aren’t doing anything for his parents but I was planning on getting my mom a bracelet to wear for the wedding and I haven’t decided what we are getting for my dad yet.

Does your future father in law play golf? You could always get a round of 18 holes for father in law, and get mother in law a spa day! A lot of country clubs and golf clubs have things like this for non members, they could go, do their own thing, and meet up after for dinner!

Aww, how sweet! How about sending the in-laws to a spa day or a nice dinner so they can still relax and recharge while they are at their beach house? Or is there an experience they have wanted to try, like parasailing or a cooking class? That might be in the same spirit as the gift you're getting your parents. And of course you can always write them a really nice thank you note and take them out to dinner to tell them thanks - people love spending quality time together
