Wedding Favors

Nefetera, on February 6, 2020 at 7:51 AM Posted in Planning 0 13
Hello All

So far for my wedding favors I and my wedding planner (who is family) we are deciding to go with key chains and chocolate. I think i could do better with picking wedding favors. Any input on what you think of my wedding favors! I went this route of course i don't want ti spend an arm and a leg on favors however i want nice wedding favors for ppl to remember. What wedding favors you ladies are going with???

I’d skip altogether unless you really want to spend the money. Favors aren’t necessary anymore. If you want them then you’re on the right track with the chocolate. Something edible: cake pop, cookie, rice crispy treat, candy bar, etc.

Like someone said above, if you want to get favors, which most people don't, just go with edibles. Cake pops or custom candy bars are a great idea.

I'm skipping it. I don't know what to do with favors when I get them. And people say it's a way to thank guests for spending the time and money to be with you...okay, nothing I give them can come close to that. Not to mention I just spent $XX on their meal and drinks.

I think food is nice, but you may end up with a lot leftover so pick something you enjoy!

We are doing mugs which are doubling as their glassware for the evening. That way if the guests don't take them with them we can use them in our house. Turned out cheaper than renting the glassware for the evening.

I'm a big fan of edible favors like donuts, popcorn, dessert buffet, etc. We're doing gourmet popcorn (special flavors) and providing cute bags they can take it in with sayings like, "Thanks for Poppin' By" or something like that. We also have these really cute gold keychains from Thailand that look like charms and are considered lucky. These were free from my uncle lol.

My sister had the most amazing caramels as the favors for her wedding a couple years ago, so we're leaning towards doing that.

My theme is rocks and gems so we are giving away rock candy sticks in my colors. A friend just got married and she did floral seed tags. You plant the tag and wild flowers grow. It was very cute. There are websites you can get them custom printed.
