Wedding favors

C, on May 10, 2020 at 11:35 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 10

I am considering not having wedding favors. I don't really want to pay for something that people may not eat/use/enjoy. Is it okay to not have favors or is it considered tacky?

Yup! Totally ok to skip these days. Providing food & drinks is good hosting. 👍

Most people will thank you for not having favors. Save the money for post-wedding expenses or put it toward things guests will care about: food/drink/entertainment

It's perfectly fine to skip favors. The reception itself is a thank you to your guests for attending your ceremony and witnessing your nuptials. You don't need a little gesture trinket/edible on top of that; it's purely elective.

We are not having favors. Instead we are making a donation in our guests’s names to the rescue that we got our two dogs from.

For me I needed favors to thank my guest. Maybe favors that's useful bc I get what your saying it be those favors where to me it's useless lol..mbut these days you don't need favors. You can do cookies, chocolate or candles as favors but like I said I don't need favors.

Totally okay to skip favors. The money is better spent elsewhere.

You can skip favors. Not a pre-requisite
