Wedding favors

Fmv, on June 23, 2019 at 10:52 PM Posted in Planning 0 6
So originally we werent going to do wedding favors. Seems like a waste of money.
BUT, on a local facebook group i saw a bride posted a photo of her snack table
In the corner she had small masom jars with jam and apple butter in them for her guests!
I love apple butter, and it goes with our fall theme-we are also having apple cider donuts for dessert.
So im wondering would apple butter be a unique favor? Or is it a stupid idea and no guests will actually take it?
Or should i just skip favors all together

I think it’s a good idea if you decide to do favors, edible seems to be the best option. I’m choosing to not do favors though since they’re not a necessity and could definitely use that money on something more important!

It would be a good idea. Edible favors are usually better. Favors can get really expensive though.

I I loveeeeeee apple butter!!! I'd take mine and probably sneak any leftovers lol! If it's in the budget I'd say go for it. It'll pair nicely with the donuts you already have. Maybe have the donuts boxed to go but have a small amount set aside for decor purposes. This way they can continue to party and take the donut and butter for the ride home. If not no worries the donuts itself will still be cool!

I love apple butter, so if I were a guest I’d be thrilled. I think food is the best option for favors as they are more likely to be used. I was actually thinking of doing this myself but don’t think it fits in my budget. My wedding isn’t fall themed but my FH and I love apple butter and visit the Apple Barn in Pigeon Forge pretty much everyday while we’re on vacation there. I thought it would be something unique to us. I say go for it, it’ll be cute and you can use any guest leave behind.

I think that’s a very cute idea, if it’s in your budget then that would be great. We’re doing a dessert table with personalized treat bags which I got a deal on zazzle so that was good enough for me! I agree that edible is the way to go if you do decide on favors.
