Wedding Favors

Emily, on January 5, 2021 at 5:46 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 8
Hi everyone! Looking for ideas for beach wedding favors for our guests. We are already married (covid-19 bride from last June) but are having our wedding “celebration” this June in the Outer Banks, NC! Originally, I was going to make everyone a mini pie, as I’m a baker, but we are going on vacation after the wedding and I’m exhausted thinking of doing that on vacation/transporting them 2 hours away in the car to the venue! If anyone has any awesome ideas, I’d love to hear them!! Thanks a bunch!! -Emily

Is there anyone that would be willing to help you? My mother-in-law offered to make our favors so I was more than happy to let her help. My husband's sister and my brother-in-law's wife helped her as well. Another option would be to see if you could find a place that makes small cupcakes or something that would be individually wrapped that's near your venue that you could just pick up the morning of the wedding or have someone attending the wedding get for you.

Having been to many weddings in my time lol I always say go on the side of food or drink. You could do mini bottles of liquor (I know total wine has a lot of bottles some at .99 each. You can even get some mixers or flavored shots. I would not deal with the stress of making something before your wedding even if you are a baker just so you can handle other getting ready day of stuff. I like the idea of maybe boxed individual cupcakes or maybe some mini pies or cookies or something? Nothing wrong with symbolic favors but I know I typically throw mine out. Ohhh have you considered mini hot sauce bottles? I went to a wedding where my friend was marrying a Costa Rican and in their country they have a popular sauce and for wedding favors they gave mini bottles of what and I thought it was cute and symbolic.

I had a coastal beach theme as well!! We had salt water taffy in a white organza bag and a little white box with truffles shaped as sailboats. 🍬

Agree—edibles or skip them. Not necessary. Beach-themed ideas:

Whatever you do I'd make sure it's something edible! I love the salt water taffy idea given the beach
