Wedding favors for guests

Do you mean gifts they can take from the wedding or individual gifts for specific people?

These are generally called favors and they are optional because they're an extra expense. Most guests will leave them behind because they don't want random knick-knacks in their home. A very common suggestion here is to do edible favors that guests can grab on the way home for a late night snack, such as a decorated cookie or donut.

I actually did gifts for my guest and I personalized them according to how I knew them from our social networks and what was important to them. So for example all of my sorority sisters received sorority mask and blue corsages. For my best friend group who would’ve been bridesmaids if I had the patience to deal with that they received Tiffany bracelets. My single girlfriends received veils instead of me throwing the bouquet. But the veils were the type of throwaway veils that you wear to a shower. My extended family received personalized thank you keys. The Elvis in our family received elaborate bouquets Everyone else received a picture of themselves that they took with a 360 camera that was not only digitally download it to them but also printed and framed for them to take home. I come from a culture that believes truly in the value of honoring the people that have celebrated your journey so that’s what we did.

We are doing chocolates! We are getting cute little boxes and adding our favorite chocolates from a local candy shop me and my fiancé LOVE! When guests are seated it will already be
at there table. I made these cute tags to tie on the boxes as well 🥰

Because I went to a wedding recently and I guess the favors were on the tables but we didn’t really see them and then when we left we ended up leaving them. My mother said when she was helping clean up there were so many of the favors left. I guess if we put the box on the plate it would be easier to spot and take. What do you think. I m a huge candle person so personally I d love a candle! My parents still have so many of those wedding matchbooks that were so popular back in the day. I think when it comes to favors as cute as a very personalized favor is to the couple and immediate fam its more usable for the rest of your guest if your name isn't all over it but definitely put a cute tag/sticker on it with your names and wedding date. We are big coffee people so we are doing coffee and mugs (but I do sublimation so I m making the mugs myself). The coffee is going to have a sticker on it that says either The perfect blend, Love is Brewing, or Grounds for Celebration (maybe we ll do a mix of all 3 because I'm so indecisive haha) with our names and wedding date like below, the mugs I m still designing but they ll probably have a funny quote about love or just a nice heart or floral design, I m going to make some for us and our parents with our names and date on it but not for everyone.
