Going to my first wedding expo Sunday. Has anyone on here been to one? How was your experience? I'm excited about cake tasting.

It was a fun experience! I went just for the experience and for the chance to win things. However, I didn't book anyone from the Expos. I went to 2 or 3.

I never went to any, I did sign up to go to one though online (never ended up attending). I got about 4 calls the week after saying I "won" a bunch of things (free rings, honeymoon, boudoir pictures) so I knew it was a scam. I'd set up a wedding email & not give out your cell so you can avoid all the calls.

I love going to expos, they are a great way to find inspirations, new ideas, and great deals. they are a great place to find venders.

I've only been to one so far, and just got some free tickets to another in a week or 2. The first one I went to was kind of small, and we were done with it in about an hour. They're fun for sure, especially if you're still open to shopping around for vendors. The vendors there are passionate and will work hard to sell you on something. (From my experience.) That being said, it's fun to try food and cake, especially. Smiley heart

I agree with some PPs, don't give them your cell or anything you aren't okay with being harassed on. They can and WILL use your info to sell you stuff, reach out to you and tell you that you've "won" something. Just a heads up, I made that mistake too lol.

I’ve been to a bunch, it’s a LOT of signing up for things and getting bombarded but you can find some really good vendors there. My best friend got her JP from a bridal expo and he was wonderful. A tip: bring cash if you think you’ll want a drink. That’s the one thing I never remember, and the bars for drinks usually cost something if you want something other than water. The cake tasting is basically the reason I go to bridal expos haha.

I didn't care too much for the expo I went to. It was smaller than I thought it would be. I only hired one of the vendors I saw there. It was a fun experience I guess, but I just expected more from it. Probably the best part of it was the free cake samples. Downside after was receiving all this junk email and phone calls.

I went to one and honestly it was just ok aha. I feel like it was fun because of going with my bridesmaids but it felt like it wasn't any better of a deal for things. However you do get freebies
