Has anyone been to a bridal expo? It’s my first time and I’m not sure what to expect is it worth it? Does it give great ideas? Is it do abe for budget friendly brides??

That was one of my favorite parts about being engagedSmiley smile I ended up going to 3 of them! It's a great way to see all the different vendors. I do recommend creating an email address specifically for wedding stuff though. Almost every vendor will have some free giveaway or something in which they will ask for your email. As those giveaways are usually always legit, you will still start to get a bajillion emails and you dont wanna let that spam up your normal email. That being said, you cant forget to check your normal email Smiley smile have fun with it tho! Sign up for every free thing or giveaway though. It's worth it Smiley smile

I regretted going to the one I went to. They'll get your email whether you give it to them or not and your phone number and will call and email for months after. It is fun looking at all the vendors, but most of them were outside my price range anyways. The food was good though!

You get lots of free stuff. It depends on your budget but I don’t regret going. The phone calls and emails after are really annoying buuuut some of them have great deals during that time. I booked my photographer that weekend because she offered $750 off which reaaallly helped me lol. And she’s been great too. Also then companies sent me ads afterward and a few weeks later I got $500 off of my dj. Which I wouldn’t have been able to afford that dj without that coupon. So it just kind of depends on budget and what deals they offer. But if you have the time I would definitely go. Get ideas. Network some.

They are fun! As worth it in my opinion. You can get some great deals, and you can even win things sometimes! I won a raffle for a free photo shoot!

I've been to a few.. when I wasnt engaged, went for other people.. free wedding expo in the big center where they have concerts and such... they give you free stuff.. not super fun or anything.. they had a fashion show of the dresses.. I dont think you can regret really going to one of those.. not going with any of the vendors they had..but it's just if ya got time, then go for it...

I went with a bridesmaid a while ago and honestly didn't find it helpful. I mean it could be because it could give you some ideas. And if you're going with your party it could be fun. I had a fun time regardless with my friend but I wouldn't say it was helpful in terms of wedding planning.
In lieu of a bridal expo you and your wedding party can have a brainstorming session or go around to different bridal shops and craft stores or whatever to look around. Even just sitting there googling ideas together would be helpful.
