Wedding expo

So, there's a wedding expo in a few weeks. I am definitely going to be going.

Yes, I have heard that men don't usually attend these. But, if there are vendors there, isn't it good for the FH to attend? Mine wants to go.

There’s absolutely nothing wrong with your FH going with you. Plenty of men attend.

Some men definitely do go! And, I so wish my FH came to the one I went to because they had a ton of raffles. There were a million women entered in but only a handful of men. Literally 2 guys won twice - one was like 2 free tux rentals, one got an awesome photography package, etc.

My FH went with me and there were a lot of men there. He was worried walking in but he was not alone.

I've seen men at all the one's I've attended. The women greatly outnumber them but still. I highly, highly recommend a wedding email if you don't already have one. Also, if you can get cheap "address label" size stickers with you name, email, wedding date, and any other info you want (not much more, it's a tiny sticker, but theme or colors?) It makes entering all the contests WAY faster and easier!! Many also ask for phone number so you may choose to include that but I never wanted to give my number because forget that- spam calls for years. Usually I left it out without mentioning it but if I was REALLY interested in their contest I'd ask them if it was okay to leave off a number or would it ruin my eligibility and every time they said an email alone was fine. If they didn't (never happened to me personally) I'd just write my number under the sticker to avoid giving my number to too many vendors/people.

He should go with you. I made my FH go and afterward he said it was actually helpful. Seeing several photographers at once was the best part. We actually ended up picking one we saw at the show. (And he is amazing!!)

It's super handy to have both partners there! Even though we are a bride/bride couple some men were with their partners too. We were happy we got to talk to a few great vendors we want to contact about food and possibly flowers. Free food and drinks as well. I actually think they may treat you better if he's there.
