Hello everyone!

What are some ideas you guys are planning on doing for your wedding exit or those that are married have done? (Sparkler, bubbles, etc)

Thanks TiffSmiley heart

We are not doing an exit we are going to do a last dance song and have the guests circle around us. To the song “time of my life from dirty dancing” and then the DJ is going to remix it to Time of my life by black eyed peas and make it fun. I’m excited

I've always liked the sparklers idea, but I don't think it'll be dark enough to do when we make our exit. Sparklers also takes a good team of people (DOC coordinator, possibly bridal party) to make sure everyone is lined up and lit at the same time to make for the best photos. I think we might do a bubble exit, little bubble wands for guests and an automatic bubble machine to ensure enough bubbles Smiley smile

We are doing our grand exit from the ceremony. (I've never seen a grand exit from a reception.) We were gonna do rainbow sprinkles, but we chose to do fruity pebbles instead.

We did bubbles for our ceremony exit. Definitely made for a beautiful picture

We did glow sticks - the pictures are fantastic and I didn't have to worry about little hands grabbing a sparkler and getting badly burned (we had 8 kids under 10 and while sparklers were our first thought, they can burn *really* badly)

We are doing a wedding bell exit. Celtic lore says ringing bells expel evil spirits. The favors are silver bell ornaments so everyone can ring them as we exit, making our path into married life free of evil.

So because our venue doesn't allow things on fire, and our wedding exit is at night we had to come up with something fun! I really don't like the idea of glow sticks, so I am having one of my friends see if we can do bubbles but the twist, we are going to see if they'll glow in the dark! We were thinking of doing confetti or the pom pom things but didn't want people having to pick them up afterward.

Our exit from the church will be bubbles and then our exit from our reception will start with the song “Friends in Low Places” by Garth Brooks and will continue to outside with a sparkler send off

I think a conga line from the hotel wedding venue to the hotel bar would be a lot fun

I'd love to do a lantern release! I'm a big fan of Disney and I'm not doing a whole themed wedding but I'd love to have a little nod to Tangled in there. Lanterns can be bought on Amazon for pretty cheap, but I've heard it's a good idea to have someone in charge of giving them out and assisting with lighting them (a groomsman or some ushers). Also check with your venue to make sure it'll be okay!

My husband is a huge Star Wars nut so I'm surprising him with a Lightsaber sendoff. I'm purchasing the Lightsabers and putting one of my family members in charge of making sure he doesn't see them and that everyone who is involved gets one. He has no idea that I'm planning this.
