Wedding entertainment!

Jocelyn, on March 25, 2020 at 3:43 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 1 16
Hey beauties,

My fiancé and I want some kind of wedding entertainment for our guests to add just a little flare to the wedding. We want the photo booth but at the same time we want something less traditional. What do you guys think?

How about a band like maybe a steel drum band? Or dancers?

You could do wedding games or performers such as dancers, comedians or magicians that would be really cool

I wanted to make sure our wedding was unique and super interactive for our guests. So for our ceremony, we are having a string quartet. And for the reception, we are having a palm reader and a caricature artist.

You're welcome! Or maybe even a caricature artist , live painter or interactive food like ice cream sundaes, s'mores bar etc.

Yes and can probably double as a guest favor! Something different to take home.

We had the photobooth and it was a hit. We also had an electric violinist for the ceremony and playing during dinner. She played hip hop/r&b and pop songs. Everyone couldn’t stop raving about her!

I wanted to hire The Haiku Guys but I just couldn’t find the budget to do it. They come in dressed to the nines with an old school typewriter. Your guest can give them a word and they’ll write a haiku about that word in under 60 seconds. Guests can take home the typed out haiku.
I’ve also seen live painters. That’s fun! And you’ll have a painting of your wedding.

Her name is Spags! You can check her out on Instagram— SPAGSMUSIC.

She does a bunch of events for Fortune 500 companies as well as weddings. She’s based out of California but travels all over the country!
I walked down to Kanye’s “All of the Lights” and she created an arrangement for it. She worked so well with our DJ. People actually thought they were from the same company.
After our wedding, we had so many guests text us just raving about her! Definitely recommend her!

I had a photobooth and that was a big hit.

i went to a wedding that had a magician and man i really wanted that for mine aha but in the end i opted not to because it was more in my budget than i would have liked and was not super necessary.

one other thing i had at my wedding was a table for games! it was an assortment of games for kids and whomever wanted to use it to mingle with. it was easy because dollar tree has a lot of options so i literally spent like maybe $15 bucks for coloring books and trivia and small board games.
