Do y’all believe the saying it’s bad luck to show your fiancé your wedding dress ?

I don’t think it’s bad luck. It’s funny, the first thing I wanted to do when I found my dress was show him! I didn’t, only because I think that moment we see each other will be so special.

I don’t think so at all. Show him if you want to.

I don't think it's bad luck, but I want him to be surprised when he sees me. He knows it's a ballgown with lace though just because he knows me 😂 He wont even look at my phone when I scroll through pictures because he might catch a glimpse. It cracks me up!

I don't believe in luck, but I don't want him to see me so we can do a first look. He has the best smile when I come out in something prettySmiley smile

I showed mine a group of dresses I liked and he picked out the ones he liked. I chose from those so that I know he will like it. We have very similar taste so it was easy. So technically he has seen my dress (not me wearing it) but doesn’t know which one it is. This has kept me from wanting to show him any more.

I really want to show it to him. It's even worse now that I exchanged the first dress for a new one, I want to ask him which one HE likes better xD. Both of our moms fully subscribe to the belief though, and now he doesn't want to see the dress beforehand, AND he doesn't want to see each other at least for the day beforehand D:

Nope. But I did show him a pic of me in the sample and he said, “Oh.” I was not pleased. But we were aglow on our wedding day. Whew.

Not bad luck, I just think it takes away from the moment. I always joke with my FH showing him wedding dresses saying they’re my actual dress when they’re not & he gets mad because he wants it to be a surprise.

I don't think it's bad luck. I think the moment will be more special on your wedding day if it's a surprise. My FH and I are really bad at keeping secrets so I will not be taking my gown home. My MOH will be storing it in her house. lol
