Absolutely possible, especially if you are willing to look at special occasion dresses, pre-owned dresses, samples, etc. Mine was around $200 and it is technically an evening gown; however, I am a bride and I am wearing it so in my mind it is just as bridal as anything else
On mobile and having trouble trying to upload a photo of mine, but it was only $100. I got it at a wedding dress consignment shop in Austin. If you like the idea of saving money but not buying a used dress, still check out some consignment shops in your area. Mine still had original tags and had probably only been worn to try on.
Sample sales or have a dress maker remake you a dress from a previous one! got mine at Goodwill (no joke) for 10 bucks and to get the ENTIRE thing remade was only $140!!
Mine with the belt came in at 749. It is from a bridal consignment shop although mine like most of the dresses in the shop are samples from runway shows or leftovers from other places ordering too many
